                                         मृत्यु एक सत्य हैं

एक राधेश्याम नामक युवक था। स्वभाव का बड़ा ही शांत एवम सुविचारों वाला व्यक्ति था। उसका छोटा सा परिवार था जिसमे उसके माता- पिता, पत्नी एवम दो बच्चे थे। सभी से वो बेहद प्यार करता था।

इसके अलावा वो कृष्ण भक्त था और सभी पर दया भाव रखता था। जरूरतमंद की सेवा करता था। किसी को दुःख नहीं देता था। उसके इन्ही गुणों के कारण श्री कृष्ण उससे बहुत प्रसन्न थे और सदैव उसके साथ रहते थे। और राधेश्याम अपने कृष्ण को देख भी सकता था। और बाते भी करता था। इसके बावजूद उसने कभी ईश्वर से कुछ नहीं माँगा। वह बहुत खुश रहता था क्यूंकि ईश्वर हमेशा उसके साथ रहते थे। 
उसे मार्गदर्शन देते थे। राधेश्याम भी कृष्ण को अपने मित्र की तरह ही पुकारता था और उनसे अपने विचारों को बाँटता था।

एक दिन राधेश्याम के पिता की तबियत अचानक ख़राब हो गई। उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती किया गया। उसने सभी डॉक्टर्स के हाथ जोड़े। अपने पिता को बचाने की मिन्नते की। लेकिन सभी ने उससे कहा कि वो ज्यादा उम्मीद नहीं दे सकते। और सभी ने उसे भगवान पर  भरोसा रखने को कहा।

तभी राधेश्याम को कृष्ण भगवान का याद आयी और उसने अपने भगवान कृष्ण को पुकारा। कृष्ण दौड़े चले आये। राधेश्याम ने कहा – मित्र ! तुम तो भगवान हो मेरे पिता को बचा लो। कृष्ण ने कहा – मित्र ! ये मेरे हाथों में नहीं हैं। अगर मृत्यु का समय पूरा हो गया है  तो    मृत्यु होना तय हैं। इस पर राधेश्याम नाराज हो गया और कृष्ण से लड़ने लगा, गुस्से में उन्हें कौसने लगा। भगवान ने भी उसे बहुत समझाया पर उसने एक ना सुनी।

तब भगवान कृष्ण ने उससे कहा – मित्र ! मैं तुम्हारी मदद कर सकता हूँ लेकिन इसके लिए तुम्हे एक कार्य करना होगा। 
राधेश्याम ने तुरंत पूछा कैसा कार्य ? कृष्ण ने कहा – तुम्हे ! किसी एक घर से मुट्ठी भर ज्वार लानी होगी और ध्यान रखना होगा कि उस परिवार में कभी किसी की मृत्यु न हुई हो। 
राधेश्याम झट से हाँ बोलकर तलाश में निकल गया। उसने कई दरवाजे खटखटायें। हर घर में ज्वार तो होती लेकिन ऐसा कोई नहीं होता जिनके परिवार में किसी की मृत्यु ना हुई हो। किसी का पिता, किसी का दादा, किसी का भाई, माँ, काकी या बहन। दो दिन तक भटकने के बाद भी राधेश्याम को ऐसा एक भी घर नहीं मिला।

तब उसे इस बात का अहसास हुआ कि मृत्यु एक अटल सत्य हैं। इसका सामना सभी को करना होता हैं। इससे कोई नहीं भाग सकता। और वो अपने व्यवहार के लिए कृष्ण से क्षमा मांगता हैं और निर्णय लेता हैं जब तक उसके पिता जीवित हैं उनकी सेवा करेगा।

थोड़े दिनों बाद राधेश्याम के पिता स्वर्ग सिधार जाते हैं। उसे दुःख तो होता हैं लेकिन ईश्वर की दी उस सीख के कारण उसका मन शांत रहता हैं।

दोस्तों इसी प्रकार हम सभी को इस सच को स्वीकार करना चाहिये कि मृत्यु एक अटल सत्य हैं उसे नकारना मुर्खता हैं। दुःख होता हैं लेकिन उसमे फँस जाना गलत हैं क्यूंकि केवल आप ही उस दुःख से पिढीत नहीं हैं अपितु सम्पूर्ण मानव जाति उस दुःख से रूबरू होती ही हैं। ऐसे सच को स्वीकार कर आगे बढ़ना ही जीवन हैं।

कई बार हम अपने किसी खास के चले जाने से इतने बेबस हो जाते हैं कि सामने खड़ा जीवन और उससे जुड़े लोग हमें दिखाई ही नहीं पड़ते। ऐसे अंधकार से निकलना मुश्किल हो जाता हैं। जो मनुष्य मृत्यु के सत्य को स्वीकार कर लेता हैं उसका जीवन भार विहीन हो जाता हैं और उसे कभी कोई कष्ट तोड़ नहीं सकता। वो जीवन के हर क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ता जाता हैं।

English translate-

                                   Death is a truth

There was a young man named Radheshyam. He was very calm and good-tempered. He had a small family in which his parents, wife and two children. He loved everyone very much.

Apart from this, he was a devotee of Krishna and had compassion on all. Served the needy. Did not hurt anyone. Due to his qualities, Shri Krishna was very happy with him and always lived with him. And Radheshyam could even see his Krishna. And also used to talk. Despite this, he never asked God for anything. He was very happy because God always lived with him.

Used to guide him. Radheshyam also used to call Krishna like his friend and share his thoughts with him.

One day Radheshyam's father suddenly worsened. He was hospitalized. He folded all the doctors' hands. I prayed to save my father. But everyone told him that he could not give much hope. And everyone asked him to trust God.

Then Radheshyam remembered Lord Krishna and called his Lord Krishna. Krishna came running. Radheshyam said - Friend! You are God, save my father. Krishna said - Friend! These are not in my hands. If the time of death is over, then the death is sure to happen. Radheshyam got angry at this and started fighting with Krishna, in anger he got angry. God also explained a lot to him but he did not listen to one.


Then Lord Krishna said to him - Friend! I can help you, but for this you have to do one thing.

Radheshyam immediately asked what kind of work? Krishna said - you! You have to bring a handful of tide from one house and keep in mind that no one has ever died in that family.

Radheshyam quickly went out in search by saying yes. He knocked on many doors. There is a tide in every house but there is no one in whose family no one has died. Somebody's father, one's grandfather, one's brother, mother, aunt or sister. Even after wandering for two days, Radheshyam could not find any such house.

Then he realized that death is an absolute truth. Everyone has to face it. No one can run from it. And he apologizes to Krishna for his behavior and decides as long as his father is alive will serve him.

After a few days Radheshyam's father goes to heaven. He feels sad but due to the learning given by God, his mind remains calm.

Friends, similarly, all of us should accept the truth that death is an irrevocable truth, it is foolish to deny it. There is sorrow but it is wrong to get trapped in it because not only you are studying that sorrow but the entire human race is dealing with that sorrow. Accepting such truth is life.


Many times we become so helpless by the departure of someone special that the life and people associated with it are not visible to us. It becomes difficult to get out of such darkness. A person who accepts the truth of death, his life becomes weightless and no trouble can ever be broken. He goes on in every sphere of life.
